Metal Bushings would be the equivalent to solid bushings and Monoballs on high performance track cars. 
 
Metal bushings provide the most engaging driving experience by creating a solid mounting point to the chassis. When compared to plastic and rubber, this is a superior rigid and frictionless joint. This solid fixed joint functions as a frictionless pivot point, allowing your A-Arms and Control Arms to freely rotate over the harshest terrain and through the most grueling conditions. The faster your suspension can react to the terrain, the quicker your tire is making contact with the ground to maintain traction. Whether your cornering, on a hill, or just bombing it down the straights, traction is the name of the game and you will be confident in knowing your suspension is working above and beyond with this upgrade to metal bushings.
 
Polyurethane and rubber bushings just don't do it. They are designed with overly tight specs that drastically stiffen the rotation of the A-Arms and control arms. This results in diminished suspension performance. With this design, the suspension has to overcome the friction of the tight joint in order to rotate. 
 
The OEM bushings use large grease channels that create an extremely loose fitment between the bushing and pivot sleeve. This results in worn out bushing within a matter of miles.
